Poem: Longing For One Another

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

"Sometimes When We Touch" by Dan Hill

poem-longing-for-one-another

Like lightening in a storm,
a force pulls us close
to feed the feeling
we know all too well.

Traveling different pathways
our crossroads intertwine,
wanting the familiar face
we longed for on those lonely nights.

Our existence is buried deep
within the corner of our hearts,
leaving us longing for one another
even if we drift apart.

Chreyl,

Haha...sorry about the song being stuck in your head.

Did you listen to the other one "I am not strong enough"?

It is a little out there on the dark side but the words are excellent.

Thanks for reading.

Great poem. Now Dan Hill’s song is stuck in my head.
