Poem: Locked Together

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Locked Together

She could have walked away,
taking a different path
leaving him behind,
but then she would have missed
the way he loves her.

A tender, yet strong feeling,
with a force they cannot fight,
surrendering to one another
for one more night.

A passionate cycle
locking them together for life,
cluttered with utter excitement pacing inside their hearts,
understanding no one else has this magic touch.

He could have walked away,
taking a different path
leaving her alone,
but then he would have missed
the way she loves him back.

Ms Dora,

You are so wise.

Hold onto the positive memories...I like that one.

Thanks for reading and saying my poetry is good.

So then, enjoy it while it lasts. Rather than regrets when it ends, takes the lesson learned and the positive memories. Good poetry. Good lesson.

Kari,

I am delighted I can give you something to read. If you receive a message through my writing that is awesome.

Yes, everyone does love quite differently.

Thank you.

It's almost like they can't live with each other or without each other. Very expressive and beautifully written Brenda.
