Poem: I Don't Play Life's Games
"Life Of My Own" by 3 Doors Down
Life can have it’s complicated twists and turns,
I don’t participate anymore,
it’s too tiring to compete
for unjust moments that don’t last.
I’ll take each day in stride
not caring the outcome,
no more games to play
or people to please,
just leave me alone
in my own little world.
It’s safer here,
less strain on my brain,
much happier to be alone,
than to contend with the rat race
that continually exist in the world.
