Poem: Finally Home

My name is Candice Ballinger and I am a Christian woman who loves Jesus and his word.

Finally Home

Glory and praise to Jesus

heavens pass time is holy and wise,

worshiping the Son and the Father

every chance they can take

I yearn to be with you oh Lord,

not like I am with you today

but to have finished this life

and to be rested in your arms,

that's the only thing I can't wait to be,

to kneel before you and take in your unfailing love

please come,

and rescue me.

Mercy is given

though many do not receive it,

they do not know the giver

they wonder where it comes from,

look up!

See the Son of God,

He has risen

to save the lonely the sinner

His sacrifice has been paid,

He forgives;

He restores

you must have faith,

and believe.
