Commands

My rock

my saving grace,

drifting through the clouds

bring me to my senses

I thirst for the water only you can give,

the commands from the Lord of Lord's

are just and right, this is true,

they are worth more than anything money can buy,

his commands are clear;

they bring me great joy

I lift up my head

now finished with my prayers

I know I am heard,

for it says in the word

His word is life,

it brings forth new beginnings

and many joyous trials,

cleanse what I know, not what is hidden

remove the stench of sin from my skin,

have mercy on me oh Lord

for I am a work in progress

and I need your guidance

as we sway to this transpicuous dalliance.
