Poem: Climbing out of Darkness

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Poem Summary

Climbing out of darkness is a poem about her tossing the darkness out of life. She follows the light in her soul find a path out of the shadows before it's too late. Her spirit guides her to peace where her heart trusts without question. She rejoices in his unconditional love.

"Climbing Out Of Darkness"

She tosses away the darkness
holding her heart,
discarding fear,
following the light
she senses in her soul.

Looking for a glimmer of hope,
she searches desperately
for a pathway,
out of the shadows
before it’s too late.

As her spirit guides the way
she finds peace,
allowing her heart
to trust without question,
rejoicing in his unconditional love.
