Poem 347: When you were my fiancée

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

When you were my fiancée

When you were my fiancée,

your father never allowed me to touch you,

he even threatened me...

Now you are my wife...you are taking

photographs with another man hugging you...your father is

no more but I am, still I can't...

Once I felt like a caged bird,

now I am feeling like a wingless bird.

I can observe the sky with my eyes

but can't fly...

You told once he protected you from danger

but where, when and how?

Yes, it needs two legs to run but

when you keep two legs separately on two boats,

you will get ruined!

I am the first guy to sail the boat outward...
