To My Junior & Longevity
Poem 314: To My Junior
Your success is your success
but your failure is my failure.
I never want to take credit
but I am ready to take blame.
My senior was just opposite:
my pain was one's pleasure.
I can understand the meaning of agony,
so we will be same-
never superior or inferior to each other.
Weak people take revenge,
so I with my nature will nourish and nurture you.
Which I haven't got,
I will never deprive you...
Poem 315: Longevity
God fixed the longevity of all.
Forty years.
Human told, 'It's too less to enjoy this earth'.
One took twenty years from dog. Then twenty years from donkey.
Mr. Nag's son and daughter-in-law were going to visit Goa,
when Mr. Nag crossed forty.
They told, 'Please look after this home'.
When he crossed sixty, they were going to watch cinema.
They told, 'Please look after our son'.
