Poem 305: If there is rich...

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

If there is rich...

(I)

If there is rich, there will be poor.

Harness possession up to a limit- the gap will get reduced,

I am sure.

Classless is never possible as there are intellectual and laborer.

Confine within upper and lower middle classes-

it's proper distribution, not class war.

When rich gets richer and poor a beggar,

life on earth will burn like sun!

People's cry can never reach deaf ear.

All are hungry, many have greed.

Self-control will be aim.

Humanity is the need.

(II)

You can talk less,

you can walk more.

But never eat less or much: food never enters through back door.

How much will you keep?

Never more than your requirement.

Human satisfaction never ends, so politics is urgent.

Against so many evils,

how can few fight?

Conscience is never dead. In midst of death, you claim and win your right.

World is not an easy place.

Life never means breathing only.

Competition and exploitation pollute clear sky, so eyes of equality and justice can not observe properly.
