Poem 299: First Kiss

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

First Kiss

my dad's friend's daughter

kissed me for blessing

on an occasion

she in class two

I in class six

her prank annoyed my sense of serenity

her mind I can't read

untouched by adolescence

I failed to understand

very justice in romanticism

out of annoyance I slapped her

an innocent flower got plucked

before full bloom

my heart feeling sorry now
