Pleasing God Is Only What Matters

Misbah loves writing poetry. She says poetry is what makes her heart feels warm and light.

it is impossible to please God without faith

it is impossible to please God without faith

In the name of Allah, the most Benevolent, ever Merciful.

— Al Quran- Surah Al – Fatiha “The Opening” : 1

Pleasing God: Love of My Life

When difficulties come, don't be frightened;

Instead, take a deep breath, and say welcome

Put wisdom into your situation,

You will create a solution, well, come!

For every problem, there's a remedy.

Finding need faith, and ingenuity.

To think and sort is the ability

Believe in God, don't lose hope so quickly

Don't explain anything to anyone.

Don't waste time to gain others' acceptance.

No need to explain yourself to someone

Oh! My beautiful friend, just countenance

Spend time and energy in pleasing God.

You have the art to win it all, because

Magic in your bones, established by the Lord

Spend energy in loving with all your flaws

Pour into ideas ever-growing,

Because in the end, it's just what matters,

Do not stress on what others are saying.

Please God, as He is the only Master.

When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

— Proverbs 16:7

13:3 -And it is He Who has spread the earth wide and set therein firm mountains and rivers, and of fruit of every kind He has made mated pairs. He covers the day with the night. Surely in that are signs (manifesting the truth) for people who reflect

A Thank You Note

Here's a sonnet for you to enjoy. I am grateful to Manatita for his help and support on how to write a sonnet. It's the first sonnet I've ever written. Thank you so much, Brother.

I Love You Allah! - a Sonnet

Searching for words as melodious as birds,

Sparkling sunlight; white mist cradling the ice.

Brightens the darkness, those signalling words,

Earth gives birth; a very new life entice.

Lyrical words, softly rustled by trees,

The charm of corn waving, on the still shore.

A chant of peace till the end of the seas,

At dusk, silence falls on walls even more.

Then all that remains is to cup my hands,

Smiling, praying; saying, “Thank you, my God.”

It's when my joyfulness; stillness expands,

Beautiful moments, alone with my Lord.

Re’lizing that You know me so deeply,

I love you, God, peace waves here so freely.

“Why do they not turn to God and ask His forgiveness? God is forgiving and kind.”

— Al Quran- Surah Al – Maidah “The Table” : 74

Everything you wrote in this article is so true, and I like all of your poetry. Your sonnet was very good. Manatita taught me to write a sonnet also.

I agree that pleasing God is so very important, and living with love is so important. I like how you started the poem with:

"When difficulties come, don't be frightened;

Instead, take a deep breath, and say welcome"

This is such a good way to face any problem, and I agree with your message. Thank you for sharing.

Love and many blessings!

Beautiful poetry addressing God. I especially liked the quote: "When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him." Yes, we should all please God and it is not hard. We can start by praying and reciting the Holy Book and doing other good deeds. Thank you for sharing, Misbah.
