Pieces of the Puzzle ( a poem of inspiration)

Sweetest life...such a grandest gift upon us each to bestow...

Sweetest life...such a grandest gift upon us each to bestow...

All a part of this the grandest of puzzles,

each in their own very special way,

Members of us all, the human race...

And relatively unknown is our time to stay.

Assumed, our role and sole direction,

Dependent upon, our actions to take,

Billions have gone on before us...

And their own futures ultimately to forsake.

A puzzle that is not always easily explained...

A puzzle that is not always easily explained...

Many who once lived upon this fine earth,

Perished by their greed and their lust.

Shall we now to follow in their footsteps,

As a product of the good or worst, we must.

Tomorrow may be but a fairytale of many,

Is right now we shall all to seize this day,

Yesterday's history, part of this generation,

Is now our time to change in every way.

Are we each directed...or do we direct?

Are we each directed...or do we direct?

Should we learn from our past human errors,

Make amends for the wrongs we all wrought,

Perhaps time will have been preserved for us,

Through our toil and sweat this to be bought.

Then tomorrow is another finest day, we earn,

Ours to make the most of and changes made.

Our creator, as a generous entity, would smile,

A most wonderful creation never would he trade.

The wisest of creatures know best and follow through with each's actions...

The wisest of creatures know best and follow through with each's actions...
