I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.
The mystery of the moon is naturally alluring.
To sense it's pull, reassuring.
To fall in love with it's enchanting character,
Who is this cunning actor?
Fullness each month has my moods in a swirl, sometimes I just hate being a girl.
But soon, in a moment, I mature under midnight's moon.
Timeless thoughts whisper of yesterday at noon.
Where'd the time go but if just for today?
The truth of time has come to pass.
Nothing stays the same, it's all in the past.
My younger days are long since gone,
Replaced by forgetfulness and mirrored by imaginings.
Each day used to be carefree and full of fun.
Now it's a chore just to bask in the sun.
My body is wearing, weak, full of age.
Life has yet turned another page.
