Orion's Bridge, An Acrostic Poem

Orion's Bridge

One day I sat upon a fence

Recalling that the sky

In past times looked bluer since

One shade was paler, Why?

Nothing could account for this

Since my faculties were fine

Better to stay in ignorant bliss

Resisting change and time

Indeed I reached Orion's Bridge

Daresay I stood in awe

Growing arms of galaxies

Encompassing everything I saw
