Online Writer's Block: A Poem

Val is a life-long practically oriented student of effective emotional and attitudinal responses to the many challenges of life.

Online writing dude might remind of a fairy frog

hoping for a merciful Reading Beauty's kiss

to turn him into a Prince on his royal blog

and to help him find his literary bliss.

He brainstorms for a big, smashing story

looking for something to touch readers' nerve

to make them either angry or make them feel sorry

but his blocked mind often refuses to deliver and serve.

That much planned masterpiece may end up a plan-B

and now he only hopes reader's taste is on his side

ever so reluctant to admit and to honestly see

that he can't take a smart reader for a ride.

Well, there come some commenters, those of same few

as if with their daily mission to do a generous deed

why they praise his crap, he still has no clue

as there is so much better stuff to read.

Maybe writer's block is just meeting a reader's one

unless there are tastes wide open and forgiving

allowing the blocked dude his scribbling fun

to write any crap his mind is conceiving.
