Oh Lord of the Mountain

Oh Lord of the mountain,

Descend to your children.

Why don't you come down?

Are you hiding?

Are you closer to your Sun?

Oh God of all other gods,

please come down from the mountain.

Your children love you.

We want to see you in the flesh.

You are the one God;

presiding over all presidents,

King of kings,

Master of masters,

the greatest Lover amidst lovers.

Please hold forgiveness,

and please give mercy.

You are the Forgiver amidst forgivers,

the Merciful among the merciful.

You are Lord of more than the mountain.

Beautiful!

Kyler J Falk from Corona, CA on March 11, 2020:

Bah, you guys give me too much credit, I just happen to love everyone on top of my seemingly ignorant views. Keep worshiping your God(s) out in the open so I may be forced to get over my hypersensitivity.

Alexander James Guckenberger (author) from Maryland, United States of America on March 11, 2020:

The Sampsons,

Thanks.

BRENDA ARLEDGE,

Thank you.

Kyler J Falk,

You have a sweet heart.

The Sampsons from The Ozarks, Missouri on March 11, 2020:

I liked this very much.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on March 11, 2020:

Nice sentiment in this poem.

I am not ready for God to descend upon his children, but it will be a glorious moment when it happens.

Thanks for sharing.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on March 11, 2020:

Kyler you are a cool dude. A pleasant chap.

May religion always take a back seat to love. Let us spread it.

Mark thanks for a place that is safe.

Kyler J Falk from Corona, CA on March 11, 2020:

I know Alex, I was just being an a-hole, and bantering with Eric. Religion triggers me negatively due to the way i was raised in the church, but I love your passion for your savior. May you and your family all find peace and love for eternity as we all should despite what beliefs we hold.

Alexander James Guckenberger (author) from Maryland, United States of America on March 11, 2020:

Kyler J Falk,

I don't think Heavenly Father wants to hurt you.

Alexander James Guckenberger (author) from Maryland, United States of America on March 11, 2020:

Eric Dierker,

We do find joy in the Savior.

Kyler J Falk from Corona, CA on March 10, 2020:

"Other people can't hold their own opinions, if they do they are jealous, ignorant, or misguided."

Sounds really accepting and loving to me! Hahahaha!

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on March 10, 2020:

This is wonderful and beautiful. Just full of love. I am afraid some will not love you for the sentiment. Some are jealous or ignorant or misguided. We find Joy in our savior. This is to the good of all.

Kyler J Falk from Corona, CA on March 10, 2020:

Yes, God of all Gods, come down from your mountain and strike me down when I raise my hand against you, so that your followers may rejoice in sadistic pleasure at the sight of my limp body in the burning lakes of sulfur.... Never a fan of religious writings, but I can definitely appreciate the passion in your words and the ease with which you deliver them.

A very pleasant read, even if the message falls upon my ears like shrieks of a harpy with the intentions of a siren.
