Dwelling in the deep darkness of severe anxiety and depression, it is the call of a Soul, to its Lord. I don't think so this poem needs any further explanation, as the poem will explain all itself.

Sitting on a side or

Sitting in the crowd

No place to I belong

Oh, I am so alone

Thoughts are so scattered

Even when try to focus

I feel so shattered

Oh, I am so alone

I hear whispers all around

Where they come from

I can't figure out

Oh, I am so alone

I am in deep ocean

Ocean of emotions

Emotions on explosion

Oh, I am so alone

Emotions of being worthless

Hollow from inside

Life is so meaningless

Oh, I am so alone

I am good for nothing

I belong to no one

In the phase of erosion

Oh, I am so alone

Emptiness is all I feel

Wounds, that no one can heel

Life has no zest and zeal

Oh, I am so alone

Oh God please help me

Is it the punishment of all my sins?

Nothing can relieve me

Oh, I am so alone

Lord, You are the Only

Who can save me

My mind has betrayed me

Oh, I am so alone

Dwelling in deep darkness

My Soul is screaming

You are my only hope

Oh, I am so alone

I have no virtue

Nor any good deed

Every door is shut on me

Oh, I am so alone

Lord, You are the most Beneficent

Take me out of this darkness

Lord, If You are with me

I will no more be alone

Lord, You are the One, all I need

Show the right path to me

Lord, If You forgive me

All my hollowness will be filled.

Thank you Brenda, I am glad you liked it. Indeed God is the most Merciful, it is just a thought and self questioning of a depressed soul.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on March 04, 2021:

This is a good poem full of true emotion.

I don't believe God punishes us, but instead is waiting there to take our hands to walk us past the troubled waters.
