His Grace in all. Monday's Inspiration 50

Author:

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom from Sri Chinmoy

"The Supreme is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. He has various kinds of power, but His greatest adamantine power is His grace. The moment the Supreme uses His grace for an individual, He offers His very Life-Breath to the seeker, for the Supreme and His grace cannot be separated." -Sri Chinmoy

ode-to-womanhood

Ode to Womanhood

Go forth in confidence, dear one.

Let thy sacred tears be like the earth,

Drawing from the ceaseless rays of Paradise,

Bending with humility and harvesting for all.

Be not afraid! To the whale, water is breath;

The ocean’s vastness is dire.

So too, let your blood be steeped,

In the diligent candle of the Heart’s fire.

Cypresses and lilies, adorn your elegance;

The robin brings forth your eloquence in song.

Perching in the orchard’s mulberry trees,

Starlings chant praises to thy endless concern.

Come! Love is weaving a rose to adorn thy sacrifice,

The rays of the sun will dry thine eyes.

Carrying the Light of dauntless courage,

Let us march bravely, to the craters of the moon.

Impossibility is a word unknown here;

Today an effulgent fire, caresses your cheeks.

Its sweet gaze pours forth a serenity on thy face,

Replenishing your Spirit with endless beauty.

Arise! Go forth with valour, dear one.

Let your soulfulness be like the earth,

Drawing from the ceaseless rays of Paradise,

Bending with humility and harvesting for all.

~Awakening the inner Light~

ode-to-womanhood

Sweet Grace, my Grace

I met the Light upon my Path,

Untangling the mystery of separation.

She carved a manuscript with words,

Unravelling the cords of my shadows.

O Grace, my Grace!

Since then You’ve stabbed my Heart,

With unending banquets of His thrills.

Each new morn is awash with Love,

Even in the adversity of my sorrows.

O Light, unyielding Light. Arise!

Let us continue … down into the sunflower dales;

Ascend to the sacredness of the crescent moon.

Let the glow of thy breath kiss my soul,

Awakening a pageantry of grandeur.

With minstrels and skylarks deep within,

Singing and dancing the rhapsody of Love.

O Grace, Sweet Grace,

Unprepared and unworthy I was,

Yet You sent me a Messenger of unparalleled height,

My song-bird -eagle to soar with Delight.

Burn all my ignorance with the fire of Love,

Within, without, below … above.

Wisdom of Sri Chinmoy

"Before realization we think that our personal effort, our aspiration alone is responsible for our spiritual progress. At that time there is no such thing as grace for us. But after realization, we come to see that there is no such thing as aspiration. Our progress is all due to divine grace." - Sri Chinmoy

Evening Brother.

How are you and your Christmas preparations? I have so much to do? But sometimes I take rest as I get too tired. Good to see you always, my brother. Actually, I thought that you had already visited.

God's willing, tomorrow night I will be an invited guest to do a few poems and again on Saturday all day at an Ashram. Sunday is our Centre Circus (Christmas). It's a big event!

My Gratitude is always there, by friend. Love to Fotini and the children.

Unprepared and unworthy I was,

Yet You sent me a Messenger of unparalleled height,

Yes, yes, Brother.

You are so right! We have a beautiful word called receptivity. When the mind is to active, Grace finds it difficult to flow. Peace.

Rajan Singh Jolly from From Mumbai, presently in Jalandhar, INDIA. on December 12, 2018:

Divine Grace is there for everyone all the time. It is we who fall short of understanding it.

manatita44 (author) from london on December 12, 2018:

Yes, Vellur, you understand.

Grace is God's Will and God's mercy, which exists in all. Love to you and family this Christmas time.

Nithya Venkat from Dubai on December 11, 2018:

Beautifully expressed, the divine will of God is in everything we do.

Mary,

Yes. Ramakrishna said all we need to do is to open our window or unfurl our sails. Appreciated.

Doris,

So good to see you, Lol. Negative Grace? (Sweet chuckle) You're in a great space. I take pride in my Mercedes, you know.

Mary Norton from Ontario, Canada on December 10, 2018:

Mother Teresa herself acknowledges that it is by the grace of God that she went into her mission and eventually became a saint. The beauty of it is that God's Grace is always there offered to us.

Doris James MizBejabbers from Beautiful South on December 10, 2018:

Lovely poetry, Manatita. Just hope that robin perched in the mulberry tree doesn't fly over your white sedan. That definitely isn't grace they leave.

Thank you Linda. Yes, how special, eh? Awesome! Thank you, my Sweet.

Linda Lum from Washington State, USA on December 10, 2018:

"Unprepared and unworthy I was." That is the beauty of it. Grace is undeserved love. We are not worthy of it, we cannot earn it. It is given as the purest of love.

manatita44 (author) from london on December 10, 2018:

Thank you, Eric, Jason, Dana and Mark.

What is this Accolade thing? I have no idea! They did send me a note today and so I am grateful. One should always be grateful. I have been here 9 years. I started with prose as I am a creative writer. My message has always been a spiritual one: to serve, inspire, motivate, awaken … reach the Heart. dana where did you see it?

Our Beloved likes us to share His Light even in small quantities and the voice within is always nudging. Isn't this beautiful? Guys/girl, thank you so much!! A thousand Embraces to you all.

manatita44 (author) from london on December 10, 2018:

Ah, Tamara, my Sweet. Thank you, thank you. So glad … so happy that you are safe. Love to the children. Hari Om!

Dee,

I feel tremendous Love for women and their sacrifices. Mother's are indispensable in many ways, but again, I think of women period!

Yes, Sweet Grace. What would we do without Messiahs? Guruji used to say that when the Saviour comes, he speeds up the process of the world and as to his disciples, he or she knocks of many incarnations in just one lifetime. The Master, whoever He/She is, is God's Advocate and can transmit Grace very easily, if it is the Will of the Supreme. A sweet and charming contribution. Thank you so much!!

manatita44 (author) from london on December 10, 2018:

Fine Elijah. It was not meant to. I can only give you my understanding. From reading Sri Ramakrishna, The Christ, Sri Krishna, Papa Ramdas and a few more souls who were recognised as being one with God, I have come to see it as everything.

That is to say, it is in the evil as well as the good and a disguised form of Compassion, nay, Compassion itself. Grace carries you on its shoulders when you are even too exhausted to be aware.

The God-men say that we have to make the effort, but when we are very close to God, we then understand that Grace was in the effort all the time and that everything is His Grace or His compassion.

I am a disciple of Sri Chinmoy and have been for 36 years. I have sat in prayer day after day relentlessly and in meditation for up to seven hours sometimes. I go on frequent retreats, yet I feel that I am like most people, really.

The difference, which is quite significant for the disciple, is that he/she sits at the feet of an Illumined Master, one capable of transmitting Grace, seeing and feeding the soul. I have experienced this mango and tasted it and I now know by experience.

Sri Chinmoy has many, many books which speaks of Grace and I gave you some titbits of a question and answer session: https://www.srichinmoy.org/resources/questions_ans...

Sometimes, I go back to telling people what I used to say, that prayer and meditation is the answer to all life's questions. It really is not in books and words. Sit in silence for 30 mins morning and evening every day for just three months. Talk to God with earnestness in your Heart. Serve humans, practice gratitude, sing some devotional songs … watch and pray ceaselessly and you will get results.

The Divine forces will come to you and teach you mystically, all you need to know. For all who wish to swim, it is necessary to get into the water. If you are ill, then it is foolish to receive a medicine which can heal you. Much Peace

Elijah A Alexander Jr from Washington DC on December 10, 2018:

Manatita,

How do you define "grace"?

I've determined grace grants us the right to explore "butter" and "honey" to choose between good and evil.

In my living it I've discovered that "butter" or human produced environment and "honey" or the means of maintaining the self-reproducing environment are has always existed except for the short transition from one type of human/woman civilization to the alternant one. In each civilization we are required to remain until such time we eliminate the duality of them from our consciousnesses and see no longer focus on the parts but on the whole or "zero" of earth and existence. Thus, grace is "the right to explore for eliminating recognizing the opposites and seeing it as a whole".

The poetry was well written but it doesn't reflect the meaning of grace.

Peace

Jason Behm from Cebu, Philippines on December 10, 2018:

There is hope in this poetry (sweet grace, my grace) particularly in this line: each new mornis awash with love even in the adveraity of my sorrow. Also the poem ode to womanhood reminds me of the immaculate conception. You are a great poet and a believer! Keep it up manatita. :)

manatita44 (author) from london on December 10, 2018:

You are the first one here as usual. Yes. I pulled that one from the ether. Thank you.
