Quote from Sri Chinmoy

"The power of light will definitely illumine the darkness. Darkness tries to devour light, but light never devours. Light only illumines the darkness. You see at night how dark it is. Then, the day dawns, and the darkness disappears…”-Sri Chinmoy

Bodies dressed in whites and colourful saris,

Adorn the chairs of this splendid Theatre.

The intonations of flute, sarangi, piano, harmonium …

The exquisite voices, floats on golden wings;

Permeate the ambience of this beautiful hall.

This is no ordinary symphony,

But a more refined, ethereal; mystical energy.

I'm transported to a place, for which

I have long since been longing.

O Light, my Light! You've eroded my fears,

Illumined a millennia of despair.

My soul-bird soars and glows,

Carrying your banner of Love,

Flooding the Heart's lustre; carving a garland in my soul.

Quote from Sri Chinmoy

"Illumination is humanity’s first realisation of God’s omnipotent Power, boundless Compassion, infinite Light and perfect Perfection...when illumination dawns in a human being, God is no longer just a promise, but an actual achievement." _ Sri Chinmoy

In Isolation From my Beloved

I’m in isolation, and my Heart is wounded,

By this transient separation from my Queen.

Long have I sought You;

My lips are parched, from calling out Thy name

Come! Seal the breath of my longing,

With Thy bewildering Light.

Cover my tears of millennia;

With Thy red carpet of celestial excellence.

I hold precariously, to the vines of rocks,

Hoping for a thrill from Thy beautiful gaze.

Take my hands; let us walk together,

Amidst Love’s fragrant gardens,

For I was never taught,

How to part from a Beloved one.

      Well Frank,

      I am especially grateful to you for supporting and endorsing this Hub. The Hub Pages God's kept it for 4 days!! So it got missed or assumed read, I suppose. We are sometimes too busy to go backwards. Infinite appreciations.
