Hey, I am Nishika. I'm a budding writer and enthusiastically explore different areas. I always try to keep myself motivated and enjoy life.
There I stood;
Waiting for such a long time,
With so many things around me;
But obviously nothing was actually mine.
There was wind and the dark sky;
The stars and the moon shining bright,
All of it looked ravishing and I sighed;
Coz everything felt just so right.
Minutes, hours, days and months;
I squandered it all and my hope,
I don’t know why I couldn’t run;
Thinking maybe I would elope.
The sky altered its color,
And wind slapped my face hard;
For once in life it felt grim to be a muller,
How stupid was it of me from the start.
Coz there I stood,
Waiting for such a long time;
With so many things around me,
But obviously - nothing was actually mine.

A well-written and quite a thought-provoking poem. I like it, Nishika.
