I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I now live in Daytona Beach, Florida with my wonderful cat Sid.
all the birds have flown away,
there was no one who could stay,
now only gray and rainy tomorrows,

Thank you, Shauna. The rhythm comes all on its own. I just let the inspiration take me to where it will.
You're welcome, Michael.

You have such a way with words. Recently I have been listening to the Beatles. Then as I read your hub you have used the Beatles song. I believe we connected on the same wavelength somehow. Wonderful moving thoughts I think often but never could express the way you do. Thank you so much for writing and sharing your gift.

Rasma, your poems don't often rhyme, but when they do, they really carry a punch. Although this one is sad, I was able to feel the heart and soul behind the words.
