Haiku - Hide and Seek

Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.

Night turning into Day

Night turning into Day

Sun, a source of energy shining day after day never fading in its glory.

The following are haiku about the glorious sun rising at dawn brightening our days with its warm sunshine.

Resting at night embracing the darkness in its deep slumber rising to begin the day again.

Sunset

sunsets darkness grips

taking hold shadowing day

light fades slips away

night-and-day-a-haiku

Hide and Seek

playing hide and seek

sun rays emerging takes flight

night turns into day

Golden Sunshine

Golden Sunshine

Golden Drops of Sun

sun rays filtering

branching trees leaves imprison

golden drops of sun

Nellieanna thank you, you made my day :)!!

Nellieanna Hay from TEXAS on April 06, 2013:

I like gook haiku, but so much I see isn't very good, as haiku,- though it might be quite good, just as poetry. The form of haiku is quite specific, not only of form but of subject content.

Yours is good on both counts, in my humble opinion. The subject is perfect and you've given the form your special touch without overstepping or defying its own.

Voting up and beautiful.

Nithya Venkat (author) from Dubai on April 05, 2013:
