New Planet of Twenty-First
Past the centuries of golden showers,
The urbanity rose up from the blue
As well as all the highest stone towers,
Settled to the place where the trees once grew
After the countless tickings of a clock,
Innovation would ne'er be in famine;
Ideas would ever light up the black,
And in twenty-first, men talk to machine
Laughs were from the tin cans we've been playing,
Now they are coming from virtual gestures;
And tears were once from the pain of falling,
But now they are from the moving pictures
Earth of twenty-first is a new planet
Change did really happen, Yes, 'tis a fact;
But what is new; 'tis never all that bad,
For technology helps the people's act.
