Mother Nature; You Inspire Me—Poem

Chitrangada likes to express herself by writing fiction and poetry. Her writing reflects her mood and is inspired by the beauty of nature.

Nature-The Ultimate Inspiration.

Far from the clamour, and commotion,

Sometimes you need a break,

Break from the regular life,

Some peaceful moments,

Some quietness, and tranquility!

Mother Nature inspires

Mother Nature inspires

I was drawn by the sound, of the waves,

Coming from the window, facing the sea,

So, here I stand, beside the sea beach,

The waves are roaring, but with calmness,

How different from the sound, I escaped!

Nature as the healer

Nature as the healer

The waves rush towards me,

with the glimmering silver light,

Now they conclude, to begin again,

How gentle is the sea, and its waves,

With all it's Supreme, and mighty power,

It never, ever crosses it's lines!

( Notice the Metaphor in the concluding lines)

Chitrangada Sharan

Living so near the ocean I get to hear those waves crash often enough. They can at times send powerful sprays onto the land but I do enjoy the feel of the salt water and breeze as it carries the water towards you. I enjoyed your thoughts reflecting life.

Wonderful. So often by just standing into the surf while the waves are brushing our feet, a calmness comes over us. We live walking distance from the beach, so that is what we do over a weekend, visiting our nearest beach.
