I'm a 15 years old boy currently studying in an English Medium School. I always have a diary in my hand and I keep writing. Its my passion.

Failure shouldn't disappoint you!

'Tis a lesson you should heed--

Try again;

If at first you don't succeed,

Try again.

Then your courage should appear;

For if you will persevere,

You will conquer, never fear,

Try again.

Once or twice though you should fail,

If you would at last prevail,

Try again.

If we strive, 'tis no disgrace

Though we did not win the race--

What should you do in that case?

Try again.

If you find your task is hard.

Try again;

Time will bring you your reward,

Try again;

All that other folk can do,

Why with patience should not you?

Only keep this rule in view,

Detailed Summary:

This is a little poem but it gives a big and a great lesson. 'Try again' and 'Perseverance' are the main points and the key ideas of the poem. When ever do something, we may not achieve success in the fist attempt, but this failure shouldn't disappoint us. Rather, we should show courage and try it once more. Our failure shouldn't make us feel embarrassed. It is no disgrace. It merely tells us that our first attempt was not strong enough. So, instead of losing heart, we should find our weaknesses and try to overcome them. We should keep in mind that what we need is to be more steadfast and firmly determined and work even harder to achieve our goal. Self-belief and perseverance are the qualities that have made so many common people conquer the world. They never lost hope and kept on trying again and again and eventually they achieved their goals. So, in order to achieve success we should also 'KEEP TRYING'

What can we learn from failure?

Failure teaches us a lesson of courage. It urges us to take more and more daring steps and work even harder to achieve our goal.

How is failure not a disgrace?

If we keep working hard and continue taking daring steps and continue working hard, its surely not a disgrace.

How many times should we try and why?

We should keep trying again and again until we achieve our goal.

What should we do if we find our task hard?

We should not get disappointed if we find our task hard. In fact, we should work hard, find our weaknesses and try to overcome them.

Let me give you an example from my life:

In my childhood I couldn't learn how to ride a bicycle. I failed and failed and failed but I kept on trying and trying and trying, and eventually I achieved my goal. So should you, instead of leaving that task, saying I can't do it, try again.

So, What lesson did we get, that we should never lose hope and keep trying. This is the only way to achieve our goal. Your dreams doesn't have an expiration date, so, take a deep breath and try again. Failure is the only opportunity to try again and this time more wisely!

      And the main point of my article is to try again to achieve our GOAL! And I think we should do everything to achieve the goal we planned and there are many ways to reach our goals! There is nothing that can stop us from gaining our goal. :):):)

      Yup, I agree with you both, Fawad and Verlie. In that situation we should use our common sense and if there is no way, we should get aside.

      Just a reply to Fawad ul Hassan, That was my first thought too. Sometimes it is better to retreat when no clear way forward is available.

      May be trying again and again is a bit over-rated.

      May be we should know when to try again and when to walk away.
