My Sun And My Moon

Updated on June 24, 2017

I've already chosen
Girls, I said, mirror image
As runs in my family
My father a twin

My grandmother on her side

Generations of lineage skipped paternally

A Sister, the baby of the bunch
Two peas in a pod
One taller than the first
The first my father resembles

Generations sometimes skipped
But always a pleasure, to be sure
Genetic predisposition
It's as mapped

My heritage continues
