My Sleeping Grandma
I'm a mathematician and have taught mathematics and related courses for over 3 years. Still working on myself. Still I rise
My Sleeping Grandma
After your husband’s demise
You stayed with us for a while
Few days after he was laid to rest
You fought death boldly
With the last gasp
You decided it was time to go and rest
When mommy said you were gone
I thought it was a joke
I tried to wake you up
I thought you were asleep as usual
But No, you wouldn’t wake up
Death stole you away
I never got the chance to say goodbye
Years gone by
But your memories linger on
Rest on grandma
Continue to soar on Angel’s wings
