Insomniac: My Kind of Something

My Kind of Something

You're kind of mysterious, something I really want to discover
You're kind of overwhelming, something like drowning
You're kind of cute, something that I wanna see
You're kind of intelligent, something I won't argue with
You're kind of interesting, something that attracts me
You're kind of annoying, something you would agree with me
You're kind of moody, something that confuses me
You're kind of unpredictable, something I really like
You're kind of cozy, something's wrong with your personality
You're kind of exceptional, something? Yes, you are!
You're my kind of something.

From the heart and therefore into mine. We create art for ourselves and we put it out there for others. Your formatting is really interesting and I like it.

You have inspired me to try it. And perhaps that is the greatest poetry of all.

Purvi from India on December 19, 2019:

Thanks for blessings, Dear.

Elijah thank you for sharing your thoughts here. I am glad to have your presence. I too have been in a series of change and it has a good effect on me. I think I've renewed my characters in every stage that I have been through. I don't exactly know when that happened, just when when I woke and reminisce, I can see that I am better than my previous self. Thank you Elijah. ♥

John Hansen from Gondwana Land on December 18, 2019:

Hi Crezyl, it sounds like this was written for someone quite special. You’re kind of a talented writer. Cheers.

Elijah A Alexander Jr from Washington DC on December 18, 2019:

Being as strange and different as I am that part could very well be about me, as for the rest, I'll leave that up to you Crezyl. Being that I have actually gone through a "New Birth"--meaning I no longer live in the water (tadpole) be most of my life is on land (environment, frogs)--I have the capacity and expect to be able to do everything any man has ever been; That makes me to fit any and every judgment one may use to describe another.

It was said as someone who also have the capacity I say about myself, Thanks for sharing it.
