My Heart is on Fire by Manatita

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

My Heart burns like fire;

I long to share its flame.

O seeker! Bring me the Chalice of thy quest,

For Love beats like a drummer in my soul.

My cup overflows, with the sweetness

Of a thousand rhapsodies, each drop

An eloquent melody, from the symphony of Love.

How I long to share its flame!

Come! Come! My sweet lavender-flower,

To taste the vintage reserved,

Only for Lovers of this Chateau.

Only the fragrant, knows the mood of the inebriate.

This stellar wine, is only for him who dares,

To enter the garden, of a million flares.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 20th May 2018.

Chateau of lovers

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come.” -Rumi

You're so right, of course. So much beauty in Love! Unutterable or speechless ... unspoken Bliss!!

Lol Miz.

The Heart burns with longing and Love and no, no barbecue. Strange for a veggie like me. Ha ha.

Thank you for such a nice sentiment.

Doris James MizBejabbers from Beautiful South on May 22, 2018:

It is usually the lower chakras that burn, and the heart experiences either longing or fulfillment. Are you sure it wasn't last night's barbecue? Just kidding.Your poetry is nothing short of amazing! Such a way with words. You are unmatched, my friend.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on May 22, 2018:
