My Disclosure

Served in the U.S. Army, attended and graduated from The University of Texas-Arlington with a bachelors in psychology and minor in sociology

I compose poetry,

Because the poetic knife is easier to hide.

When I hurt myself, I just bleed on the inside.

Since the wounds created are known only to me,

The pain that is felt is not easy to see.

I compose poetry,

So that I can release my grief under the guise of art.

So that I can bleed myself dry and dismantle my heart.

I use the claret as an ink to compose my rhyme,

To archive my lament till the end of time.

I wrote this poem,

To slay the affection that I once held as truth.

To silence the thoughts of remembering you.
