Moustache Doesn't Make a Man: A Poem
Moustache won't make a man
and neither does a smooth face
so, some may need to understand
manliness is found at a deeper place.
Huge moustache or thin
bushy or one hardly seen
with a goatie or smooth chin
none of that will make you win.
Certain religions may worldwide dictate
this facial distinction from a "weaker" gender
but it could merely be a reason for a secret hate
for playing it rough instead of playing it more tender.
There are also those who try to hide
their true nature of being soft and tame
masking with moustache their sensitive side
and we may call it pride, or we may call it shame.
It is man's charisma with its vibes
not an advertised hairy face
and that's all that describes
manly man of any race.
And then again moustache may only mean
just an innocent decoration on a man's face
although it should never and ever be seen
as something that moustache could replace.
