Once I saw the mountain peaks,
Glistening white and blue,
Looming precipice in a row,
Daring the cold and snow.
Mountain peaks I tell you now,
I run to rise when pleasure fills
The windward slopes of your side,
Makes me happy to roll and glide.
Waiting by her down- to slide,
View the fields as mossy green,
All the colours I miss to see
Standing by her base and now.
Sparkling sun rays on its peaks,
Makes me wonder how it glows
Let the birds sing when flying low,
Perfume of flowers forever more
Mountain peaks, Mountain peaks,
Cover my eyes, as I dream,
Let your freshness touch my cheek,
Let your pure drops wet my lips.
Like my mother, you so dear,
Like my mother you soft and near,
Like my mother your fragrance found,
Like my mother I clung, to rise in morn.
Other seasons you play hide n seek,
Never to miss you in my dreams
Let me someday come near to you,
Mountain Peaks so lovely and true.
