I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
More End of April Couplets (2021)
So many hurdles I still need to cross
so many pennies I still need to toss.
But everything is blossoming again
early morning the birds begin to sing.
Our struggle is a matter of our mind
to sour essence of the lemon rind.
Right now the time has come to fall asleep
to try to grab minutes to let our tea steep.
My eyes seem heavy as Basil wilts
to grab precious time while Earth slightly tilts.
When water no longer runs down a hill
only a small percent of us drink our fill.
These tragedies will lead to stronger faith
to soften hard edges with Heavens Lathe.
These are the times we find true care
to help beyond the idea of "what's fair."

A beautiful poem, tragedies bring us closer to the Lord.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on April 25, 2021:
We all are facing struggling times right now but there is beauty all around.
Especially right now at least where I am with Spring.
Getting enough rest to start another day is key.
Thankfully this era of tragedy is bringing those to the door of Our Lord.
Helping others is truly a gift to give.
Misbah Sheikh from The World of Poets on April 25, 2021:
Jamie, this is a beautiful poem, very uplifting piece. Hardships and tragedies surely lead to stronger faith. As Og Mandino said,
“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.”
Blessings to you
