Moments Most Awaited: Poem

Happiness rolled out,

Like the red carpet,

The Sun and the Moon,

Shining differently today,

The stars sparkling brighter,

Glittering like diamonds,

The excitement at it's peak,

With eagerness and patience,

And, with bated breath,

Praying with gratitude,

I am eagerly waiting—

For the most awaited moments of my life,

With happiness in our hearts,

Celebrations and revelry to enjoy,

Soulful moments of togetherness,

The divine pleasure of union,

Fill up my eyes with happy tears,

My joyful heart beats a bit faster,

To treasure each moment,

With deep faith in the divine,

I wait for the most awaited moments,

Moments of joy, Moments of lifetime,

Moments with loved ones,

Moments of heartfelt gratitude,

Magical moments do happen,

And, all of that starts with,

A sincere wish, some hope, deep faith,

Patience, persistence and a lot of self-belief.

Thoughts Behind The Poem

Life brings us many challenges each day.
Inspite of our best efforts, sometimes we fail to achieve our goals.

It might take longer than usual to achieve our goals; to fulfil our wishes.

But do we give up or should we give up?
I believe not—

Because, everything happens at the right time, when it has to happen and by the will of the Supreme. We may not even know, what's actually good for us and whether the things we are waiting to happen so eagerly are the right things for us.

But we must keep on doing our efforts sincerely, with perseverance, with patience and lot of faith, hope and self-belief.

This poem was composed with these sentiments, when after a long—long wait, my wishes were fulfilled.
