Misty Beauty

I have always loved to write nature poems. This is one of the nature poems written by me and here I extol mist as a beauteous entity.

Misty Beauty

With the drops of rain has arrived
A beauty called mist robed in white
The chill of her hazy eyes
Confounds my whole being
And pierces the bottom of my heart

So gorgeous is the misty beauty
That I can't take my eyes off her
And long after she has gone
Her silky visage lingers in my heart

My whole being shivers and shudders
Through the spell she casts
With the ebb and flow of her eyes
In my heart her sublime image lasts

Shaking me from within and without
A few questions resound in my ears
"Am I a lover of nature ?"
"Is it a passion for some hazy figure?"

Standing amidst nature
I can't keep track of time
Until the cool air blows against my face
To awaken me from this reverie

A smile appears on my face
When I see the misty beauty taking shape
