Never Had But Always Wished For
The first crush
Two children barely old enough to understand
Their own bodies yet alone the feelings they have
Making googly eyes at each other
Her eyes fluttering and her face blushing
Him awkward and shy
Whispering secrets so no one else can hear
So happy sitting side by side
Lost in the big world
Feeling so attached
Then a quick kiss
Two of hearts
Wild dreams and fantasies
Connected together forever

Gypsy Rose Lee The love that we see and feel keeps changing as we change. No matter what happens next in our life we some how can still remember the way we once felt. When I was little things really didn't go my way. I had feelings for different girls but the girls I liked were not interested. So I guess that is why you call them crushes. I got crushed more than once. The thoughts I felt were more what I wanted it to be like more than it actually was. Now that I am older I can make up a different ending where I don't end up sad but moved and tingling all over. Thank you so much for reading and sharing. Life is a journey and each place and time is only one stop along the way. Have a beautiful night.

manatita 44 Look how far we have come. From the first beginning of a friendship to marriage and a family. All the excitement and joy over the years. A love that started so simple and developed in many ways over time. Bill Holland Some memories are so terrific and are still larger than life. Then there are so many embarrassing times that we want to forget but we can't. Thank you both for traveling back in time and sharing the beautiful memories with the sad ones too. It may be late but so much to do in such a short time.

Boy oh boy, those days are gone. :) There was a sweet innocence about that time, wasn't there? Sweet melancholy for sure.
