Self-portrait

...of the Life She's Never Lived.

She pushed you, you said

She doesn't know how

But you said it twice

Guess, she gets it now.

She was hurt, She felt it

That she cannot be the

Centre of your life

So, be it, she'll take it.

She doesn't have to say

What she's going thru

It’s painful enough

To even utter a word.

She'll keep it to herself

Are you happy now?

That you got your way into

Hurting her delicate heart?

She's nobody, she gets it

That was the message

Conveyed and put across

On the table for two.

She'll keep it wrap now

One time is all it takes

Recommended

To conceal her heart

Pretend she doesn't care.

She can put a façade

She's good at putting a smile

Show the world a happy face

But that won’t heal the cut.

Because she's loved you

All her life and she's breathing

Thru you every minute

Every hour, everyday.

Oh yes, that innocent face

Naïve look of pure grace

Misconstrued?

Blame it to her and no one else.

But she refused, she refused

To stop from loving you

Because it would mean death

Of the life she's never lived.

XOXO~
