Make Room For The Wind

Making room for the wind
Blowing my hair in new ways
The leaves crossing my path
Is there a message they send?

We don’t have to talk about that
The past you brought to me
I hold it lightly in my hand
Now I know where the pain is at

It’s so hard to think about
I don’t want you to die without me
Somebody else may be there instead
But my flowers will leave no doubt

Yes I’m sorry, sorry for it all
But not for how you made me feel
Whatever he knows of you now
It’s not enough to break our fall
