Hagalaz - W h o I s I

Marionette of the moon

To its tugs, I sway

The spell has me consumed but to them, I'm hurricane

To men, a cruel lesson to sail

To some, a dark, cold grave

Drowned have secrets of every day and age

The ripples of time mould wrinkles on my scale

Underneath swim children that wish to play

Witchcraft of the moon

To its curse, enslaved

A maze, the storm to which men lost their way

I yearn, pray they return to bay

But if I spoke, how would the devil play?

Tired and tattered, don't turn to gaze

Don't find me at my ugly deserted place

Clarinet of the moon

Its tune in my veins

I dance with the devil where saints come to bathe

Sacrifice my kin to men with sails

And sink in pieces of what you cast away
