Thank You, ALLAH

I was like a lost wanderer in this world,

Then you held me and everything unfurled.

There were numerous people everywhere,

Yet I gradually fell into despair.

There was an emptiness deep within me,

And it felt like it was meant to be.

Though the continuous rebuffs kept me in vain,

I knew your immaculate plan would lessen my pain.

You relieved me of my fright,

Like a guiding light.

You came like a ship on a deserted shore,

And took me away encompassed by your fore.

Even in the dark, thunderous and stormy nights,

You adjusted the sails just right.

When you held me in your arm,

I was assured that, the criticism from people could do no harm.

Verily, your love is irreplaceable, distinctive and devoted,

It made me a Writer, and now a Poet.
