Love is Patient
It's when we wait,
Wait for His perfect time
To make our lives great,

Love is Kind
Gentle from the start,
Quiet in an argument
And understanding to a cold heart,

Love does not Envy
Wouldn't desire to have what others do,
But instead focuses on becoming a better person
And help others love themselves too,

Love does not Boast
All our kind and thoughtful deeds stays hidden,
Wouldn't voice out what it's done
But Praise God for the opportunity it's been given,

Love is not Proud
But hold on to humility,
Wouldn't think it's higher than others
But would look at them with equality,

Love is not rude
Harsh words are always vain,
To ruin someone's day,
What do you gain?

Love is not self seeking
Wouldn't hold back a bit,
But would be a giver
A helping hand to anyone who needs it,

Love is not easily angered
No matter what storm gets thrown their way,
Would deal with the problem calmly
And practice endurance day after day,

Love keeps no record of wrongs
But will forgive and forget,
Wouldn't remind a person of his past
Or fill him with regret,

Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth,
It sees past the bad
And focuses on the good,

Love always protects
Those who are honest and true,
Cause Love always trusts
The heart that was there for you,

Love always hopes
For those who have lost their way,
Love always perseveres in prayer
That they will come back one day,

Cause His Love Never Fails,
And always prevails,

For this scripture 1 Corinthians 13 : 4 - 7
Has touched my heart and changed my life,
It proves God's love
Can help us live right,

For you are Loved
For God's love is over you like a mist,
And we love others
Cause he loved us first.

You very effectively covered all the aspects of love and you did it with love. thanks

A master peace, Jay Dee, of explaining that Corinthian passage. In a poem I wrote, Love aka Indifference, I say in different words the same thing then include everything of earth as recipients of our love.

Thanks for sharing it,
