Love That Feeling

I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I now live in Daytona Beach, Florida. .

The feel of love,

is ever a tender touch,

for love is the grandest feeling

and it never asks for much.

Just a tender touch,

true love shining,

the feel of love –

ever sends you reeling.

Time passes by so quickly

and time can do so much,

people change,

things rearrange –

love can simply fade away.

There is no rhyme and reason,

to love,

it can come and go,

just like every season.

Somewhere deep inside,

you’ll know when love arrives,

your heart like a trembling bird,

will start to take wing

and want to fly.

It will be in the sparkling eyes,

the smile upon the lips,

the first touch of hands

and the first kiss.

The feel of love,

will return,

hearts beating together as one,

never again to feel alone,

when love has finally come home.

Each day will shine

and your heart will be able to say –

love is mine.

The feel of love,

brings with it melodies,

that build up to a crescendo –

beginning love’s symphony.
