I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.
As good as your cup of coffee is, Life is not as warm and tasty for many
Good humans have lost loved ones, their dear family
People have died for just living their good lives
Some viciously taken away by the gun, some by the knives
Muggers and smugglers, all rejoice at the fallen expense
Creating a void for those missing the living, while some forgive, some seek vengeance
Addicts hide in shadows with needled out flesh
While young ones out at nights advertising their flesh
Minds of the great look to criminality for making a living
While podium speakers flush our ears with lies, always taking and never truly giving
These beings are born to silence joy, to silence love
Taking a way the innocence of the children, the pups, the cubs
The creator created a perfect world,
Man created an imperfect living
High class pickpockets in suites with unrealistic taxes taking every chilling
Weather machines and artificial devastation being created
Get them all the wicked shout.
For a nation there is so much hatred
More weapons being created than cure for sickness
Nuclear button pushers twitchy fingers waiting to start a worldly distress
These haters of humans, haters of joy, why are they still here?
Creating and planning chaos.
The masterminds of destruction everywhere
Are you still asleep? Well it is time to be awaken
Because our joy and love has been taken.

Twitchy fingers indeed. I liked the image. Sometimes it’s just a little too much, the hatred.
