Oh rose what has sickened you?

Is it the worm that bothers out of the blue?

His dark intentions appears as a woe

Do not be deceived and perceive the love is true.

Oh rose look at you!

Thy poor heart has sickened

Worm playfully penetrated in your nest

Thy innocence was taken

Purity of yours faded and the rest

Where art thou the love he uttered

Now you are dying in vain

Pain is felt as well as suffered

That's the love of a sick rose.

You are right Ms. Deborah, this sounds like a tragic or unfortunate love. The innocent, chase and pure soul of the girl have been corrupted by an experienced pretentious lover.
