Love Knocked
Hi! I write poetry, related or not to my life. So enjoy reading!
I once wrote about you Words spilled Like how my feelings were For you
I don't anymore, I still write Though the words ache For you
I had all my love On my hands Wanting to be loved Waiting for your hands
Your outstretched arms Wanting my love You had it From the beginning
At first it grew And grew To love you More and more
Until the fights Came and Knocked At our doors
I knew And you did too It was gonna be hard And we did our best
With a hand On my chest Inside, my heart ached My Eyes with tears
Not because We were over But because of Myself realizing
That I am capable To love a person So much That I had my arms
Open
Knowing the difficulties Love came

Touching, heartfelt poem. Sorrow but happiness in the end.
