Losing a bond

losing-a-bond

Losing a bond

She was sitting in the solitaire,

Gazing at the sky,

Praising the gleaming stars,

With her face numb,

hands frigid,

And monsters hovering her.

She struggles to smoke out the pain,

To ease her burning soul,

But the voices inside her seems to deafen her.

Deep inside she knew,

She couldn't share things with anyone anymore,

She won't be able to give words to what she feels,

She felt lost,

Lost even in the herd of beloveds,

That's when she realizes,

What it's meant to lose a bond,

That's when she realizes what's meant to be detached after getting attached!!

There is a sense of sadness in this thought provoking poem, well written.
