Losing Mama
I write, read, crochet, sing, and play musical instruments. A sucker for learning.
Poem #8
She's still alive yet time is smothering me with
Images of life without her
And now that I'm pondering it
My heart hurts
My eyes ready to bleed
As I'm sitting in this train
Looking at all the women
All of them will not be enough
To fill the void
The immense space that gravity will pull down
Sinking my paper boat of what tiny piece of mother-caused happines will remain
Inside of me
But it will know the way
To lay, rest, and be embedded under my skin
Don't go yet, Ma
