Looking at What I Have to Do

Take A Peek

I went downstairs to my basement

I had recently got a box of all different types of screws

There was a lot of different screws

A friend got them from a friend

He didn't want them

I just love them

So many types

I put them in smaller plastic containers

Only to realize that is a lot of work

Ten containers later

Not organized any better

Now I don't have to worry about the box breaking

If anyone needs a screw

I have one for you

Ann Carr You made me smile, laugh and smile again. I come from a long line of screw, nut, bolt savers. I remember in our cellar my grandfather must of saved jars of screws. Later growing up my father had jars of mixed nuts and bolts etc. My uncle had his cellar full of different things. I got a box of nails that was his all separated and organized. Now I am old enough to have my own collection. You have so send me some pictures I would love to add them to my hub. Thank you so much for all your sharing and caring. When you need something it is good that it is there. Have fun and I am going to call your friend Arthur The Grand Collector of all Things. I am glad to know him. I love that he knows what he has I still have a long way to go. I give him so much credit. It takes time and lots of patience. Have a beautiful Sunday.

John Hansen That is the best way. I went at it backwards and now finding my way forward. As long as you know where they are and use them that is the key. My wife reminds me they are not to be tiny little dust collectors like knickknacks around the house that collect dust. Moving forward slowly. I have been distracted and off in many directions. Each place I go I love so much. I didn't forget your comments. I have read them over about a hundred times. Once I reply they are filed away in the stories in the sky. Sometimes I need comments to push me forward as my own word prep to get me moving. A little fire under my butt. Thank you so much. Have a great Sunday.

Umesh Chandra Bhatt I love to do things with my hands even though I have never been a handyman. There is always time to start. I have a lot of ideas and we shall see where they will lead me. Thank you so much for reading and sharing. It took me forever to comment. I just get one idea and then another. Wishing you a Happy Holiday season. Could you explain what holidays you like and enjoy? We enjoy Christmas on Dec.25th.

I love this! My partner has a garage full of jars and boxes which contain screws, nuts, bolts, fixings of metal and wood, you name it, it's there! So I had to laugh when I read your description of sorting things out - I live with it! The neighbours know that if they don't have the necessary fixing, then Arthur does, 99.9% of the time. Many of them are eons old (so's he!).

A collection of assorted screws comes in very handy Dream On. Mine started out nicely sorted but they didn’t remain that way. I need to spend a day sorting into types and sizes.

Interesting. Your poems recently have some practical and technical touch. I like that. God bless you.
