Live With All Your Might
Change comes along and takes a hold
It breaks the mold
Fills our lives with truths untold
Good truths or bad – we wait and see
Which will become our destiny
And we waiver in our uncertainty
As we make the breach
We grit our teeth
Hoping to hold all within reach
Who put us here, on this earth, with this life
To grapple with strife
And sink in delight
To smell the breeze
To hear the trees
To watch the plodding bumblebees
To smile, to cry, to laugh and to fight
To live this life with all of our might
To solve the puzzle of what is right
What's right for you is not right for me
You don't do what I do, or see what I see
And what about society
Do they have a right to have their say
And dictate our lives every day
To tell us what to wear and when to play
It's up to you - you will or you won't
Conform when you have to – rebel when you don't
Jump and dance and twist and twirl
Strap yourself in, as you will be hurled
Through this kaleidoscope-like world
