The cat, The Fox and The Lion

The Cat, The Fox and The Lion

The cat had no intention of swimming.

Instead, it got a malicious thrill,

From being cynical of swimmers.

Filled with doubt, it was not unusual to deny,

That which it saw with its own eyes.

Ever the sly one,

The fox spoke ceaselessly of the Ocean’s beauty;

Gave endless discourses about its depths.

But the lion, having listened to the instructor,

Roared with confidence and jumped in.

Lo and behold, the Beloved created fins,

In the sanctuary of its dauntless Spirit.

It swam blissfully,

Unburdened by the chains of its past experiences.

Listening To The Arias in Her Flame

I once tasted the scent of Your beauty,

Drifting past the cynosure of my gaze.

I beheld with sweet delight,

A stream of Light… golden Light,

Blazing through my window.

I basked in the zephyrs of the dawn;

Played romantically in the Hearts of Lovers,

All praising the glory of Thy name.

Ah! How we jumped with joy!

The golden Chalice of my Soul,

Flew, like a bird, to the perennial charm of starlights;

I bathed in an ocean of effulgent Light.

The resplendent moon whispered her secrets,

To the glory of the night;

I danced on fireflies, illuminating the beauty,

And the grandeur of the Spirit.

Aye! So much radiance! Such tender Love!

I ascended to the mount of Jerusalem,

Listening to Arias in Her flame.

Let the Light of the Soul

Penetrate the darkness,

Drunk with Love, for the Beloved One."-Manatita

The title of this hub is certainly interesting! I enjoy all of the imagery that you use in your poems, but I often find one idea that is especially interesting or appealing to me. In this article, it's the thought of riding on fireflies.
